Kink & Ink Code of Conduct

1. Consent is Mandatory
   No touching, or any form of physical contact, is allowed unless there is clear, enthusiastic, and ongoing consent. It’s not assumed or implied.

2. Respect Boundaries
   If someone expresses a limit or says “no”, stop immediately. Consent must be honored, always.

3. Maintain Professional Conduct
   Please avoid asking authors, vendors, or anyone personal or sexual questions. Engage respectfully and thoughtfully.

4. Masks & Visibility
   Full-face costume masks are prohibited to ensure safety and identification. Medical-grade masks (e.g., surgical or cloth masks) are allowed.

5. Zero Tolerance for Harassment
   Harassment, including inappropriate touching or invasive questions, won’t be tolerated. Event staff will enforce this strictly and will have an open line of communication to handle situations quickly and efficiently if they arise.
   Violations lead to removal from the event, no refund, and a permanent ban from future Kink & Ink events.

6. Stay Alert and Speak Up
   If you witness behavior that violates these rules, please notify a staff member or volunteer immediately. Your awareness helps keep everyone safe and welcome.

7. Dress Code & Apparel Policy

   To maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all attendees, clothing or apparel that promotes harmful, discriminatory, or extremist ideologies will not be permitted at the event. Attendees wearing such items will not be allowed into the signing or any other events associated with the signing.
